Miami Landlord Self Help was created to make life easier for landlords in Miami-Dade County dealing with tenant issues. We provide “How To” guides of steps and editable Word/Docs notice templates for rental issues. Our templates are designed for use in Miami-Dade County and throughout Florida.
The site was founded by Joe Castillo, a Miami native with a background in banking and mortgage lending. Joe began his career in the 1990s as a bank teller at Washington Mutual Bank and later worked as a Mortgage Broker. Over the years, especially during the 2008 housing crisis, he saw firsthand how stressful property problems can become when landlords don’t have the right records and timely notices in place.
That experience is what inspired this site. Joe understands that most landlords can benefit from practical help like a list of exact steps, editable landlord forms, and tenant notices made especially to use in their own county (Miami-Dade), not generic forms.
